About Me
While I was raised by teachers of literature and grammar, it might surprise you to know that at Harvard I majored in the arts (music/flute performance) and psychology. It was while I was a working musician in New York City post graduation that I found myself supplementing my income by editing PhD theses and business documents, never imagining that such work would lead to a full-time career.
First came a lengthy stint in corporate training designing and facilitating curriculum on a myriad of topics, where I discovered that my ability to communicate through words was equally as powerful as my knack--and love--for communicating through music. This realization led to writing books, which ultimately led me directly into the fascinating, burgeoning industry of book design and self-publishing.
Over 25 years and hundreds of books and clients later, I am still at it: Using my expertise as a book shepherd to help you bring your good to fruition—and there's nothing like it in the world. Helping you take it all the way from the editing stage to publication to the moment that book is in your hands is a divinely guided, glorious, life-changing event, one that never ceases to thrill me and one that I know will have your whole being thrumming with satisfaction.
